FIRST DAY

For me, DJing in a milonga is the art of caring about the music which is what drives us to dance. This task takes anyone that wishes to do it well to study all life.

I expect a tango dj to have the ability to put himself in the place of everyone in the dancefloor and in the milonga. Taking care of all and in their well-being it is imperative to choose with coherence, intelligence, altruism and intuition. In this way it is more likely that the music selected is the most suited to the milonga.

I try to respect these principles that are what I, as a milongueiro, expect from a tango dj. For me, when I study DJing, I believe that what it matters is that the music can touch emotionally the dance of all… to study is to create more conditions so that this magical moment may occur.

Going from the “spirit of each Orquestra Típica” and from the connection with each dancer, I expect to contribute so that each and every single milonguero can live a beautiful and happy experience.To DJ in traditional milongas and Encuentros Milongueros is a responsibility that I deeply treasure.
